This is an old laptop we know, which was released last year November (2014), but we love it so much we have always want to talk about it.
HP has been amazing so far on their products I mean on beauty, on performance, on sound(beats audio) talking about the HP ENVY LEAP MOTION, HP ENVY 15t and others being good enough, but on gaming I have found HP not quit interesting. I once had the Hp Envy 15t touchsmart which i really enjoyed so much, I played games like Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, Battle field 3, Need For Speed The Run, Mortal Kombat 9, Watch Dogs, Sleeping Dogs and it actually worked fine, not perfectly fine I had to reduce some games to high settings but I was happy with it. It came with Nvidia GT860m of 2gb vram I didn't really get the best gaming experience but it works for me.
But what I don't find interesting on HP laptops during gaming is the heat the laptop produce, you get scared if your laptop is about to explode or something, but with the Hp Omen everything is about to change for gamers.

I thought the Hp Omen would have a really bad battery life because it has the same size battery as the dell inspiron 7000, they both share 58Wh but the battery life of this laptop is significantly better. On regular use it stays for 4 and half hour they advertise 5 but getting 4 and half which is still pretty cool, but in gaming 1 and half, watching movies 3 and half and some minutes which is pretty impressive
Yes the Hp Omen is a touch screen laptop which is something missing from gaming laptops. The screen resolution is capped at 1080p while the competition goes to 4k which is slightly not good. Despite being stuck with a last Gen graphics card it offers very capable performers in PC games. On this laptop users can change the keyboard light keys to any colour of choice.
Gaming laptops have thankfully gone from glowing alien heads and flame decals to basic black. In this case, it's basic black broken up over lengthy speaker grilles along the left and right side, and a punched-in pattern of tiny squares across the back of the lid.
The most notable physical characteristic is the tapered edges. Both the left and right sides narrow to a point, creating a floating effect for the body beneath it, and giving the body the illusion of being even thinner than it is. In reality, at 4.7 pounds and 20mm thick, it's thinner and lighter than the Y50, but not by much.
The chassis construction also results in a limited port variety; there is no VGA or Ethernet, for instance. However, you get a DisplayPort and 4x USB 3.0 ports. Unusual, but necessary because of the shape of the base unit: All the ports are located at the back. This is pretty perfect because there are no annoying cables or devices at the sides, but it can also be pretty laborious when you often attach devices. The notebook cannot be secured with a Kensington lock. The SD-card reader is at the center of the right side.
